Curriculum

EKU’s online supply chain safety and security graduate certificate offers a real-world focus and practical skill building. Through the guidance of nationally recognized safety experts from nearly every corner of the industry, you can build the foundation you need to lead and discover new ways to keep workers safe, and design and implement corrective safety measures.

Global Supply Chain Operations, Analytics and Security – SSE 856
Supply chains are increasing in size, scope and complexity. Understanding and evaluating supply chain management through the lenses of global security and risk assessment is essential. Course topics include supply chain safety, vulnerability, security and logistics.

Security Intelligence – HLS 820
Principles of security intelligence and its application to private sector security, risk and resilience efforts as well as operational models to safeguard physical, cyber and human assets and to enable informed decision-making. 

Corporate Compliance – SSE 834
The assessment, analysis and development of safety, emergency management, security and environmental compliance programs. This course will address the regulatory requirements and best business practices for each of the compliance areas.

Global Supply Chain Risk & Resilience – SSE 857
Understanding, assessing and evaluating the fundamentals of risk and resiliency are essential to ensuring a secure, dependable global supply chain. This course explores how lean inventory strategies, centralized distribution, logistics and offshore production impact the safety of global supply chains. Topics include risk assessment, resiliency planning, modeling and mitigation strategies.
