Fire, Arson and Explosion Investigation Bachelor’s Degree 

EKU’s comprehensive fire, arson and explosion investigation degree is one of only a handful of specialized programs in the nation. This unique program provides students with the scientific and investigative skills needed to determine the cause and criminal nature of fires and explosions. Our graduates are trained for interagency collaboration and gain a competitive edge in the job market.

Credit Hours: 120 hours
Tuition: $409 per credit hour
                  $250 per credit hour for active duty military
Transfer Credits Accepted: Up to 90 hours*
Career Options: Fire marshal, fire investigator (public and private), ATF agent,  firefighter, building inspector, fire and arson investigations  detective, insurance company consultant   

A minimum of 30 credit hours must be completed with EKU

Note: The EKU Online program includes unique, hands-on fire, arson and explosion investigations experiences on Eastern Kentucky University’s Richmond, Kentucky campus.
