Eastern Kentucky University’s Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program was named one of the Top 10 programs in the nation according to Best’s Review.
Best’s Review interviewed 330 industry professionals, including hiring managers and human resource professionals. The results not only catapulted EKU’s RMI program to the Top 10 ranking, but also indicated that the EKU Risk Management and Insurance program excels at allowing students “interaction with the industry.”
One interviewee said to Best’s Review that: “the program provides countless opportunities to network with professionals and learn about the industry hands on. They are extremely active in preparing students for careers in insurance.”

The RMI program offers students flexibility with fast-track opportunities for students with 80 or more credit hours, so that you can begin your career as soon as possible. Internships are also highly encouraged and can count toward credit hours because at EKU, experience matters. The curriculum is even designed to be able to apply credits earned to the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification.
