How to Apply

How to apply as a first-time freshman:

  1. Fill out the free online application.
  2. Submit your high school transcripts to the Office of Admissions.
  3. Submit ACT or SAT scores (not required, but encouraged for determining appropriate course placement).

Some programs may have additional application requirements. Contact your enrollment advisor to learn of any specific requirements for your program.

How to Apply

How to apply to a graduate program:

  1. Fill out the free online application.
  2. Provide official entrance exam scores (GRE, MAT or GMAT), if applicable.
  3. Provide official undergraduate transcripts (if not an EKU graduate).
  4. Submit letters of recommendation, if required for the academic program.

Some programs may have additional application requirements. Contact your enrollment advisor to learn of any specific requirements for your program.

How to apply as a transfer student:

  1. Fill out the free online application.
  2. Send us your high school transcript (if you have 23 or fewer credit hours).
  3. Send us your official transcripts from each accredited university you attended, including dual credit from high school.

Important Notice: The Clery Act Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available on the website of the EKU Police Department. This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings, or property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the Richmond, Corbin, Danville, Lancaster, Manchester, and Somerset campuses. It contains policies on crime reporting, alcohol/drug use, crime prevention and other matters. The report also provides information regarding fire safety and statistics. You can view this report at police.eku.edu. A paper copy is available by contacting the EKU Police at (859) 622-1111.

The department also maintains a daily log of campus crimes and fires that are reported to campus and local police. The log can be viewed at crimelong.eku.
